Marcus Procopio
Director and Public Notary
With over 20 years of legal experience, Marcus Procopio is renowned for his practical, cost-effective and results-driven approach.
As the Director of Procopio Legal, Marcus has established himself as a trusted advisor across a diverse range of areas of legal practice including contract law, business and commercial law, negotiation and dispute resolution, property law and commercial property acquisitions and family law.
Admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2004 and appointed as a Public Notary in 2024, Marcus is known for his expertise in legal drafting and his ability to tackle complex challenges with clarity and precision. His straightforward communication style ensures clients feel confident and informed every step of the way.
When he’s not delivering exceptional results for his clients, Marcus enjoys tending to his fruit trees, playing guitar, weightlifting and spending time with Lily, the firm’s official mascot.
Candy Spalding
Lawyer
Candy Spalding brings a wealth of experience to her role at Procopio Legal, with over 25 years in leadership positions across the mining, oil and gas sectors. Candy was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in December 2020 and commenced legal practice in 2023. Her diverse background gives her a unique ability to quickly understand complex situations and craft practical solutions tailored to her clients’ needs.
Candy’s expertise includes corporate governance, project management and high-risk training, making her a trusted legal advisor. She is a member of the Governance Institute and holds qualifications in Commerce, Law (Juris Doctor) and Legal Practice, showcasing her commitment to excellence in every facet of her work.
Candy is passionate about helping people facing difficult situations. Beyond her legal practice, she serves on the board of a homeless charity, is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time with her family and pets.
